WannaDo works behind the scenes. There's no app to log into, and no added steps. Once you sign in, you'll simply invite us to the calendar events you want us to plan out and tell us what you want to do.
Create a new event on your calendar just like you normally would. This represents the block of time you want to fill. Ask it to work around your current schedule, or fit it between things. It's flexible.
In the title, write what you want to do. Specific or vague, doesn't matter. For instance, "coffee and a walk in the park." Or, "Plan a business lunch for 6 at a nice restaurant with easy parking so where I can get to the airport by 3pm." You can string plans together with whatever you're doing before or after.
We will make plans considering when things are open, how much time you have, transit time between things, and more. We can plan a whole weekend trip, or find a way to spend an hour between meetings in a new city.
In the calendar event, select "Add guests" and add wannado.ai@gmail.com. This part is important. It won't work if you forget this!
You don't have to add a location, but usually the more specific, the better. For instance, if you wanna grab healthy lunch, but only have an hour, "350 Fifth Ave, New York, NY," will show you healthy lunch spots where you can go, eat, and be back in an hour. Using just "New York, NY" as your location is too broad in this case.
That doesn't mean you need to be specific. You could also set your location to "Seattle, WA" and if your 5 hour event title is "Dog friendly hike and a brewery afterwards," you will get ideas for short hikes within driving distance of Seattle that include a stop at a brewery on the way back. All dog friendly, of course!
Once you save the event, it will ask "Would you like to send invitation emails to Google Calendar guests?" Don't send.
You can add other guests if you like, but they will only see the event details, not the responses we give you. That feature is on our to-do list.
Once your event invite comes through, our AI gets to work on putting together three unique itineraries based on the block of time, location, and title of the event. As soon as it's done, you'll get an email with all the details.
If you like what you see then your plans are sorted! If they're too broad or not the direction you were thinking, try again with a more descriptive title. "Dinner and drinks" is a start, but "Local bbq spot and live music at a dive bar" will get you closer to what you're looking for.
